Hi I’m Jasmin!

During this time, I learned A LOT and discovered with research, creativity, resources, and guidance you don’t need a professional interior designer to create a beautiful space. We hired a general contractor to complete the work, but we picked out all the designs, finishes, and home decor on our own.

As the house came together, my friends and family began to ask me a bunch of questions and wanted to know how I was able to get a certain look. They were also blown away by the major savings I found on certain items. Several of them even said our house looked like it should be in a magazine.

Now fast forward to a few years later, we sold that home for over asking price and moved to a new area. Since moving to our new area, we have been renting for a couple of years now and are waiting for the right time to buy a house again, and questioning do we want a new construction home or a resale home.

I am finding myself OBSESSING over how I want our new home to look.

From planning out my rooms on Pinterest, to watching new construction home tours on YouTube, stalking Instagram, and researching furniture on different websites. I’ve discovered I truly have a deep love for beautiful homes and would love to help others transform their own home into their dream space with “Love Your Home Style” being their go-to for inspiration, resources, ideas, and more.

This is how Love Your Home Style was born!

As a nurse, I’ve acquired valuable skills over the past 18 years, such as providing resources, organization, writing, researching, helping others, teaching, problem-solving, and so much more that I will use here to HELP YOU! I believe home is the most important place you will be, and I would love to inspire you to create a space YOU LOVE.

Nursing taught me compassion, attention to detail, and the value of environments that nurture the soul. I bring that same perspective into home decor, where I believe every space has the power to tell a story, spark joy, and provide peace after a long day.

As I’ve helped patients navigate their healthcare, one thing I’ve always heard, especially when they are in the hospital is they are ready to go home. This is another key reason why I want to help others create their dream home space, because home is the one place every single person should feel most at peace.

Through this blog, I share thoughtfully curated decorating ideas to help you create a home that feels both stylish and meaningful. My goal is to encourage others to see their homes as a canvas for creativity, comfort, and connection.

I truly believe a well-loved home has the power to uplift and inspire—and I’m here to help you bring that vision to life.

You may think you need to be a professional interior designer or think you are just not good at putting things together, but I am here to tell you that you can DO IT YOURSELF.

Armed with the right information, I’ve done it, and I am in no way a professional interior designer. I would love to help you do the same and have you walk alongside me on our search for a new home and of course see how we decorate it.

However, let me just say, I’m constantly learning something new, and plan to share everything I learn with you!
